Prenatal Chiropractic and Webster Technique in Woodstock, GA
Webster Technique in Woodstock, GA for pelvic balance, round ligament tension and birth prep. Prenatal chiropractic care through every trimester. Book online.

What is Webster Technique, exactly?
It is a defined chiropractic analysis and adjustment developed through the ICPA, focused on sacral alignment and the soft tissue around it. Practitioners assess the sacrum and pelvis, adjust where restriction is found, and release tension in the round ligaments and associated muscles.
What it is not is a technique for turning a baby. Webster addresses the mother’s pelvic biomechanics. When the pelvis and the surrounding ligaments are working without restriction, babies frequently find optimal position on their own, which is a meaningfully different claim.
When in pregnancy should you start?
Any point is a reasonable point, and each stage has its own reason.
| Stage | What we focus on | Typical rhythm |
|---|---|---|
| Trying to conceive | Pelvic balance, nervous system stress, cycle-related tension | Every 2 to 4 weeks |
| First trimester | Fatigue, nausea-related posture, establishing a baseline | Every 2 to 4 weeks |
| Second trimester | Round ligament pain, SI joint, growing load | Every 2 to 3 weeks |
| Third trimester | Pelvic room, birth preparation, sleep and comfort | Weekly toward the end |
| Fourth trimester | Postpartum pelvis, nursing posture, core recovery | As needed, starting early |
What does prenatal chiropractic help with?
The complaints we see most are pelvic and SI joint pain, round ligament pain, pubic symphysis discomfort, sciatica that arrived with the bump, and the specific misery of not being able to find a sleeping position. Suboptimal fetal positioning and birth preparation are common reasons for referral too.
Postpartum matters just as much. Nursing posture, a pelvis that has been through a lot, and a body carrying a growing weight on one hip all deserve attention. Our full list of pregnancy and postpartum conditions covers the range.
Is it safe for me and the baby?
Prenatal chiropractic care is widely used during pregnancy and the adjustments involved are specific and low force. Nothing is done that compresses the abdomen, and the table is set up for a pregnant body. If you have a high risk pregnancy or a specific obstetric concern, we will co-ordinate with your OB or midwife rather than working around them.
Why choose Even Flow for prenatal care in Woodstock?
Pregnancy care works best when it is not squeezed into a general adult schedule. Dr. Amanda is ICPA certified in Webster Technique, the table is set up for a pregnant body, and appointment times are built for the reality that you may need to move slowly or bring a toddler with you.
We also do not stop at delivery. The fourth trimester is where most support quietly disappears, and it is where a pelvis that has just been through labour needs the most attention.
- ICPA certified in Webster Technique
- Tables and bolstering adapted for every trimester
- Postpartum and nursing posture care included in the plan
- Baby can be checked at the same visit
- Happy to co-ordinate with your OB or midwife
What does it cost?
Even Flow is a cash-based practice, which is a deliberate choice rather than an administrative one. Billing insurance directly means care gets shaped by what a benefits table will approve, and preventative work is usually the first thing that table refuses.
Your first visit is $111 and includes the consultation, the full scan set and imaging where appropriate. Ongoing costs are laid out in writing at your Report of Findings, before you commit to anything. HSA and FSA cards are accepted, and we provide the documentation you need to self-file with your insurer.
Frequently asked questions
Can Webster Technique turn a breech baby?
Webster addresses the mother’s pelvic and sacral balance rather than the baby directly. Reducing that restriction often gives a baby the room to move into optimal position, but the technique is not a manoeuvre performed on the baby and we will not promise a specific outcome.
How often should I come during pregnancy?
Commonly every two to four weeks earlier on, moving toward weekly in the final stretch. Your plan is set at your Report of Findings and adjusts as your pregnancy does.
Does it hurt during pregnancy?
It should not. The table is adapted, the adjustments are gentle and specific, and most patients describe the visits as one of the more comfortable parts of their week.
Can I come in postpartum, and how soon?
Yes, and sooner than most people expect. Many patients come in within the first couple of weeks, often with the baby, who can be checked at the same visit through our pediatric chiropractic care.
Do I need a referral from my OB or midwife?
No referral is needed. That said, we are happy to communicate with your provider, and we encourage it for anything complex.
Ready to find out what is actually going on?
Your $111 Discovery Visit covers the consultation, a full set of nervous system scans and imaging where it is appropriate. You will leave knowing what your options are, whether or not you choose to continue.
